P. Visser & Zoon B.V. is excited to announce their acquisition by BCFoods Inc.

Established in the Netherlands more than 180 years ago, P. Visser & Zoon B.V. is well established in the spice trade. The company is led by Jan Kees Hottentot. He is supported in running the company by his daughter Lillian and their bookkeeper Patricia van de Logt.
Expanding on the P. Visser & Zoon B.V. line of spices, seeds and herbs, BCFoods offers their line of industrial dried ingredients, including garlic, onion, bell pepper, tomato, carrot, black and white pepper, and many others.
“BCFoods’ mission is to become the leading global supplier of a wide range of food ingredients,” added Mike Liu, CEO of BCFoods. “This acquisition will help BCFoods to extend the growth of our spice business worldwide. The P. Visser & Zoon trade name will be registered and BCFoods Europe will continue using this well-respected and long-established brand in the marketplace. Jan Kees Hottentot will become the Managing Director of BCFoods Europe.
Starting in 2020, customers can expect to see BCFoods’ full line of dried vegetables, onion, garlic, spices and seasonings being supplied throughout Europe. They can also expect to see a select range of the P. Visser & Zoon B.V. line of spices, seeds and herbs supplied worldwide.
